Since 1989 when David Wilcox started his contracting business, he has instilled the genetics of excellence and ethics. "It is just easier to strive to be a great company than a company with average or poor customer satisfaction," David said. He adds, "And it is a lot more enjoyable and rewarding."
In order to be a great company that experiences growth, the company must employ great people and be a great place to work, give back to the community, and put customer service first. Wilcox Basement Systems keeps key employees by providing a benefits package, bonus pay by performance programs, customer service rewards, and keeps a comfortable and friendly workplace. The employees are supported by exemplary management, the best products and equipment to work with, lots of training, and ethical sales practices.
Community involvement is encouraged at Wilcox Basement Systems and David and the management set the example. The crew works hands on in organizations such as the United Way, the Boys and Girls Club, Christmas in April, the Children's Miracle Network House, and the Boy Scouts to name a few.
Putting customer service first starts with great communication. Wilcox Basement Systems feels that the customer deserves to be educated about the services that the company provides and to have a positive experience from the beginning to the completion of the project. Some ways that the company accomplishes this is with clean lettered vehicles, uniformed personnel, Better Business Bureau and Chambers of Commerce memebership, quality printed materials, and using the best products available.
The result of putting into practice being an excellent and ethical company is annual growth. Wilcox Basement Systems has experienced growth every year. For example in 2001 and 2002 it grew 150% and by July 1, 2003 it matched the entire business of 2002. Being an ethical company is good for business.
Wilcox Basement Systems, Inc is proud to be chosen as a recipient of the Better Business Bureau's 2003 Torch Award, and would like to thank both its customers and especially the employees who made this award possible for us.
